If you’ve looked through my shop you will know that I am a fan of bold prints, quirky patterns and colour. Finding unusual fabrics with great patterns is one of my favourite hobbies!

If you find it hard to know where to look to get brightly coloured basics to mix and match with the bold prints then hopefully this blog post will help.

Bee Boo Buzz is a really lovely new brand that specialises in plain, brightly coloured tops and baby vests. It is all made from organic cotton that is woven and dyed in the UK and their clothes are manufactured in the UK too!

I love Bee Boo Buzz – their tops and vests match perfectly with rainbow dungarees and cool leggings. It is so refreshing from the usual pastel and white tops on the high street!

Their baby vests go up to age 18-24 months and would work perfectly under the rainbow dungarees.

H and M have a great range of basics at affordable prices. Their plain leggings and jogging bottoms come in loads of different colours. Choose from plain black or navy or go for a brighter pink or red and you can mix and match them with a Tutti Frutti Clothing t-shirt.

Why not pair the organic yellow llamas with grey marl leggings or joggers for a really fnky and fresh look?

The H and M Conscious range uses organic cotton and seeks to improve working conditions at their suppliers, and reduce any negative impacts H and M’s business might have along their value chain. It is really great to see big business care about the planet!

Zara has some great basics as part of the Join Life range – their clothing collection which uses the beset sustainable materials and processes to help care for the environment.

I love this unicorn t-shirt which would look amazing with our pale pink unicorn leggings

or these cool pom pom tops which are just so lovely and would work with the ever popular organic rainbow leggings. I offer a choice of coordinating cuff colour so why not coordinate the top to the cuffs of the leggings?
